Daily World News,
President Obama will sit down this week with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while both leaders are in New York for the U.N. General Assembly.
Obama and Netanyahu are expected to meet Wednesday to discuss a possible peace plan between Israel and the Palestinians
"The meeting also will be an opportunity to discuss the need for genuine advancement of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the face of deeply troubling trends on the ground," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a statement.
The meeting comes just a week after the U.S. and Israel signed an unprecedented new security agreement that will give the Israeli military $38 billion over 10 years.

The meeting, possibly Obama's last with Netanyahu as President, might also help ease the strained relationship the pair have had for much of Obama's time in office.
Tensions between the two leaders exploded last year as a result of the White House's nuclear agreement with Iran.
Netanyahu vehemently opposed the Iran agreement, and in March 2015, even visited Washington, at then-House Speaker John Boehner's request, to address a joint meeting of Congress without telling the White House about the plan
